Hello! I go by Croc in the cosplay community, and welcome to the bug talent show!
I've been cosplaying since 2016 with a focus on cosplay construction from sewing to prop making; basically any skills needed to make a part of a cosplay I will give a shot. My personal favorite cosplay components to make are props and accessories, especially if they include lots of intricate details. I first started my journey wanting to get into making foam based props and accessories (especially large ones), but over the years, I've begun to focus more on my sewing skills and overall detail work.

Recently, modifying shoes has been one of my favorite cosplay things to do. The more complicated and stressful the complexity is, the better (is what I say before I actually start the construction process).

Purses and other accessories are a close second if I can really cram details onto them. I definitely have a love hate relationship with sculpting when it comes to making all these things.

My least favorite cosplay skills to practice are wig styling and make-up. But even though I don't like them as much, I will still choose to take on more challenging make-up looks and hairstyles to build a cosplay I'm happy with.

I've cosplayed from so many different types of media over the years from fashion doll lines to book characters. Cosplay is really just a way for me to express my love and excitement for my favorite media and to exercise my creative muscles. Currently, some of my favorite media are the anime Zombieland Saga and the defunct doll line Ever After High in which many of my most recent cosplays are from both.
